For nationals with short term resident visa(student/bridging) for Australia

Temporary Visitor(Holiday, Visiting Friends, Business, Attending a conference)
The following must be submitted for the application for the visa:
- A valid passport with a valid Australian visa
- Visa application form duly completed and signed by the applicant
- One passport sized photo (taken within 3 months)
- A copy of the airline ticket or flight details (full flight details from an accredited travel agent or airline)
- Hotel reservation or letter of invitation from friends/relatives stating length of stay and addresses of friends/relatives
- Materials showing financial ability of applicant (Traveller's cheques, bank statement or bank book)
- Letter from a school or university stating that the applicant is currently a student or letter of employment from applicant's company
- The documents listed below must be provided by your guarantor in Japan
- A letter of guarantee(English | Japanese) from your relative or friend living in Japan
- A letter of invitation
- An Itinerary for your stay
- Guarantor's Tax Certificate issued by the Mayor's office, the head of the Ward's office, or taxation office in Japan. "Gensen cho shu sho" is not accepted.
- (If your guarantor is a Japanese national)
- A current Residential Certificate (Jyu-min hyo)
- Family Register (Koseki tohon)
- An Employment Certificate (Zaishoku shomei) issued by the company, if the guarantor is a company employee.
- A company’s Registration issued by the Legal Affairs Bureau, if the guarantor is a company director.
- A copy of Business Permission Certificate (Eigyo kyoka sho), ifthe guarantor is self-employed.
- A certificate of Alien Registration
- A copy of guarantor’s passport
- An Employment Certificate( Zaishoku shoumei) issued by the company, if the guarantor is a company employee.
- A company’s Registration issued by the Legal Affairs Bureau, if the guarantor is a company director.
- A copy of Business Permission Certificate (Eigyo Kyoka sho), if the guarantor is self-employed.
- Please Note: We are not responsible for tickets, which are unusable due to delay or denial of visa.
- Additional documents may be required if necessary.
- Processing time is a minimum of 3 working days.
- When requesting the return of passports by mail, please enclose a SELF-ADDRESSED PREPAID Registerd Post envelop (available from Australia Post). Please allow extra time for the mail delay.

Transit(Less than 3 days)

- Letter from a school or university stating that the applicant is currently a student (if applicable)
- Proof of accommodation in Japan
- A visa for the next country you will visit after Japan
- Materials showing financial ability of applicant (Traveller's cheques, bank statement or bank book)
- Please Note: We are not responsible for tickets, which are unusable due to delay or denial of visa.
- Additional documents may be required if necessary.
- Processing time is a minimum of 3 working days.
