Come and Volunteer!

An opportunity to make Japan-Australia more great relations!

We are currently recruiting volunteers for the Japan Festival to:

   ・Attend the Information Desk (Town Hall/TAFE)
   ・Manage foot traffic (Town Hall/TAFE)
   ・Help guide visitors and assist with traffic control 
   ・Operate the stage programing 
   ・Sell Raffle tickets
   ・cashier
   ・Manage the Recreation Area 
   ・Act as origami instructors<
   ・Manage VIP visitors
   ・Manage public health and safety
   ・Manage the parking lot
   ・Film and take photos
   ・Other.

フェスティバル当日では、浴衣、着物、実行委員会のハッピ姿とともに、ボランティアスタッフの黄色いベストも目立ちます。

キビキビ動く姿が印象的なスタッフとして、日豪交流の架け橋となってみませんか？

This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of our friendly team. You will be working side by side with our well experienced executive committee and fellow staff members. Will you not come and join us on the frontier of Australia-Japan relations?

ボランティアスタッフには、イベント一週間前 (本年は、5月13日予定)には、本番の会場において説明会を開催し、過去のイベント内容や当日の注意点などの詳細な説明を受けます。

To the volunteer staff, we will hold a briefing session at the actual venue a week before the event (scheduled for May 13th this year). At this event we will receive detailed explanations for the day including past event contents and notes for the day.

その説明会で、イベント前日の会場設置のお手伝いも募集しています。 

We are also looking for help at setting up the venue the day before the event. Further information will be explained at the meeting on May 13th

また、ボランティアにご参加頂いた皆様を招待してイベント翌週の土曜日（今年は6月3日予定）にスタッフ慰労会を開催します。

In addition, we invite everyone who participates as a volunteer to a staff member’s Thanks Party on the following Saturday (scheduled for June 3rd this year).

Here, meals will be provided and you can come and reflect with us on the successes of the Japan Festival from the week before. We will be streaming Photos and Videos,

就職などにも有利になる、ボランティア証明書の授与などが行われます。

and it will be beneficial for future employment etc., as a volunteer certificate award will be given.
