ヨンスーンさんは タスマニアの養蜂業者です。来年2月にフェリーでタスマニアの蜂の収穫時に旅行をしましょうと計画しています。タスマニアは隣の州なのにまだ行った事がない？どうですか、ご一緒に？その打ち合わせをかねて、はちみつのお話をうかがいます。

はちみつの健康効果; 花の種類 ；どのようにはちみつが集められるかなど
タスマニアには日本と同じくはっきり分かれた４季があります。春先から夏にかけ花が開花するとき養蜂業者apiculturistは蜂と蜂の巣をもって移動し蜜を集めます。花畑を移動しながら集めるので蜜が混じることはなくこの技術が養蜂業者の特技です。
ヨーロッパから 蜂が導入されたのは1981年から。イタリアの蜂が導入されたのは1884年からです。はちみつビーワックスを生産するほか農業生産者の畑を回り蜂がおしべの花粉をめしべにつけて果樹の生産に使われるPollinationサービスをします。
一年の間1月から4月にかけて8-10週間忙しい時を過ごします。
世界中でヨーロッパの蜂につく虫（病気？）がありその予防治療で薬が使われています。タスマニアにはこの病気がないため薬を使わなくてよい唯一の場所です。 またタスマニア政府は人工授精や交配の農業生産物を取り入れていませんので完全なオーガニックです。
蜂産業の約20％はタスマニ内での使用、50％がオーストラリアの他州に送られ、30％が世界中に輸出されています。
There are distinctive four seasons in Tasmania. During spring and summer, apiculturist travel with bee hive and bee to the flower farms. Bee knows to collect the same honey (e.g. lavender) and honey from different flower does not mix. This is a trade secret.
Australia started honey industry since 1981 from Europe. Italian species came to Australia in 1884. Honey industry includes bee-wax production, and fruits plantations need fertilizing pollen for the fruits employing bees. Apiculturists are extremely busy 8-10 weeks between January to April each year.
There are some disease spreading European bees in the world. To prevent this disease, other country uses chemicals for preventing diseases. Tasmanian government prohibit use chemicals artificial insemination and genetic modification, so we can claim ‘Organic’ honey. Tasmanian honey industry consume about 20% within Tasmania, selling 50% to other parts of Australia and the rest 30% is exported.
We are planning to visit Launceston perhaps end of February for experiencing this honey collection. We shall talk with the owner, Yeon Soon about this plan on 24 September.
